What is the referral program?

Our referral program allows you to refer Amazon third-party sellers to us. We take a look at their business and, if we end up acquiring the business, you will receive a reward for your referral. It’s a small way to thank you for sharing us with your friends and family.

What rewards can I earn?

There are two options for rewards. You can either get a Tesla -- you will have $49,990 to put towards a Tesla model of your choice. Alternatively, you can choose to take the cash directly!

Who is eligible to participate in the referral program?

Any legal U.S. resident 18 or older can participate in the program. We do not permit broker-dealers to participate in the program. We reserve the right to disqualify any individual from participating in the program.

How do I refer someone?

You can refer someone by submitting their information to the referral portal. As long as we have not actively engaged with any referee in the past or received a referral of the same referee by another individual, they will be considered a referral from you.

Can I receive a reward for a previous referral before the reward program was launched?

We cannot grant rewards for referrals that were made prior to the launch of this reward program. Please note that the official launch date for this reward program is June 15, 2021.

Who can I refer to earn rewards? What are the minimum qualifications for Amazon companies we would be willing to buy?

You must personally know the Amazon Seller you are referring to Acquco. Please note that we will be copying you on the initial email outreach to this seller. Additionally, we are only looking for Private Label brands with at least $1,000,000 in annual revenue. For further requirements, please review our Referral Program Terms and Conditions.

What if I don’t have insurance or a license?

Unfortunately, if you do not have insurance or a license you cannot receive the car as your referral reward. In this case, the only option would be cash. The reward is non-transferable.

Can I refer myself?

No, you cannot refer yourself, but feel free to reach out directly to us regarding your business. We’d be happy to discuss!

Is there a limit on the number of people I can refer?

There is no limit on the amount of people you can refer! However, you need to personally know the people you are referring.

How do I earn rewards? When will I receive my reward?

You will earn a reward if you refer an Amazon third-party seller, we acquire that seller and provide payment to the seller. See our Referral Program Terms and Conditions for further requirements. Typically, you will receive the reward within [45] days of the closing and payment of the acquisition.

How do I know if I made a successful referral?

If your referral makes it through the acquisition process, we will send you an email to notify you.

How will I receive my reward?

Once your reward has been approved, you will receive an email to notify you and ask which reward you prefer (cash or Tesla).

If you choose to take the Tesla, you may reach out to Tesla to pick out your car and its features. Once you are ready for payment, we will wire up to $49,990 to Tesla directly for the purchase of your car. You will be responsible for any costs, fees, taxes and other expenses above this amount. If the Tesla you choose is valued at less than $49,990, we will provide you with an amount up to the pre-tax, pre-fees value of the Tesla.
If you choose cash, we will send the funds directly to you through ACH or wire.

Can I customize my car?

Yes, you can customize your car! You’ll be able to deal directly with Tesla - you can make your own account, customize your car and include any other features you’d like. If the Tesla you choose is valued at less than $49,990, we will provide you with an amount up to the pre-tax, pre-fee value of the Tesla. You will be responsible for any costs, fees, taxes and other expenses above the amount we provide to Tesla directly.

Do I owe tax on my car (or on the cash I receive)?

Yes, you will owe income tax on the car or cash. We will distribute a 1099-MISC for the actual value of the reward at the end of the year in which you received the reward.
